Managing Member Stephen Dummer and associate Warren Dedeaux received a successful verdict for the American Federal of Teachers in a labor and employment matter, this time from the Poplarville School Board on behalf of a successful teacher/coach who was wrongfully non-renewed by the School District due to an intense political climate. After three days of testimony from eight witnesses concerning the facts surrounding the teacher’s non-renewal, the School Board determined by a vote of 4 to 1, that the teacher had not committed any acts worthy of non-renewal and reversed the decision of the School District. The School Board elected by vote of 4 to 1 to fully reinstate the teacher’s Contract with the School.
