National Labor Relations Board in Washington DC affirms trial court’s dismissal

Following a three year ordeal, the National Labor Relations Board in Washington DC recently issued a ruling affirming the trial court’s dismissal of all actions against Mr. Dummer’s client, who had been charged by the National Labor Relations Board for wrongfully terminating an employee, in contravention of the National Labor Relations Act.  Following a weeklong trial on the merits in Louisiana involving 13 witnesses, over 26,000 pages of evidence, and an extensive post hearing briefing schedule, the administrative law judge ruled in favor of Mr. Dummer’s client.  The General Counsel for the NLRB appealed the decision to the full Board in Washington, D.C., asserting error.  The National Labor Relations Board found no error in the lower court’s ruling and dismissed all actions against Mr. Dummer’s client.
