Our History

Dummer Law Group, PLLC, is a full-service AV Preeminent Martindale-Hubbel rated litigation based law firm. The firm is privileged to represent a wide variety of businesses, insurance companies and individuals in its full-service civil litigation practice.

Founding Member and Managing Partner Stephen Dummer came to Gulfport in 2005, as an associate of the well-regarded firm Allen, Vaughn, Cobb & Hood, a firm with roots dating as far back as 1954.  Stephen became a partner of Allen, Cobb & Hood, P.A. in 2010.  After serving as a partner with a large regional New Orleans firm, Mr. Dummer founded Dummer, Lowery & Savarese, PLLC.  Mr. Dummer then formed Sharp, Dummer, & Briggs, PLLC, which transitioned into Dummer Law Group, PLLC.

The attorneys of Dummer Law Group, PLLC, have been elected to and accepted appointments and management positions on multiple boards of directors and organizations throughout the state.  Through their combined legal practice of over 12 years, Dummer Law Group, PLLC, offers a unique opportunity to its clients that larger regional law firms cannot.  Due to the firm’s distinctive position and individual roots and involvement in the community, it is able to offer extremely competitive rates while retaining its ability to represent clients along the entire Gulf Coast region.  The attorneys’ experience of representing several businesses over 12 years, including numerous recent Hurricane Katrina cases, has helped the firm refine its litigation capabilities.
