Geneva M. Dummer

AR/AP/PR Clerk

Geneva was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and joined the U.S. Navy after graduating from high school. She proudly served 7 years as an Avionics Technician, working her way up from technician to Collateral Duty Inspector and finally to Quality Assurance Inspector. She left the service honorably and went on to earn her B.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Wyoming. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee College of Medical Health Sciences, earning a Master of Science Degree in Molecular Biology.

Since moving to the MS Gulf Coast, Geneva has worked in Human Resources, Risk Management, and Information Technology and as Chief of Financial Operations. In addition to her duty as AR/AP/PR Clerk and Bookkeeper at Dummer Law Group, she owns and operates The Meeting Place, a shared office facility and business incubator, and continues to manage additional projects including but not limited to community grant writing/administration, strategic planning, bookkeeping, and marketing/online media management.  Geneva is also the Veteran Business Outreach Center at MSU’s Mississippi Gulf Coast Veteran Business Counselor and Boots to Business Instructor for Keesler AFB and NCBC Gulfport.

She has served on numerous boards of directors of nonprofit organizations and enjoys performing occasionally with local community theater groups.  She currently serves as Director and Administrator for Heritage Trails Partnership of the Mississippi Gulf Coast, President of Bike Walk Mississippi, Treasurer for Public Relations Association of Mississippi’s Beach Chapter, Treasurer for the Greater Biloxi Economic Development Foundation, and is a member of the Gulf Coast Business Council.  Geneva and Stephen live in Biloxi with their 2 children.
